Mary's Courthouse Steps

I've got to make this quilt!! Mary just started cutting her scraps into 2" strips, and put it together in Courthouse Steps fashion. I used a plume feather pattern in the border, and a pattern from Anne Bright called August Rain. It measures 100 X 100, and she used a silk batt. I wish I had some where to hang it to get a full picture. Beautiful! (Scrappy quilts are my favorite)

I really like that quilt! Thanks for stopping by my blog, but now I want to know who your daughter is? I want to see if either of my sons' know her! That would be really cool if we really knew each other!
