Works in Progress

This quilt is going to the Valley City Street Fair to be raffled off.
Every year Sandy donates a beauty!

Here is a peek of one that I'm working on for the guild that I belong to. It next year's raffle quilt. Some one is going to receive quite a treasure for $1!

This morning, Victoria posted on facebook about her tree quilt. She inspired me to take mine out of the hutch. This is a round robin quilt that was started a long, long time ago. I made the tree in the center, and it was passed around to five other gals across the USA. Still as yet, unquilted.  I liken myself to the shoemaker, whose children don't have any shoes, or the carpenter whose house is always in a state of unfinish.
I make these quilt tops, and unless I have a purpose, I don't quilt them!
I think I'm going to have to do something about that!

I really love the idea of a round robin quilt. We need to make that happen and make a picture collage of the lifecyle and route the quilt takes around the US. What a fun IDEA!
