I've read quite of few of Jennifer's books, and I must say I've enjoyed them all. Her Elm Creek Quilt Novels feature comtempory, as well as historial fiction, and her characters, no matter from which era, have a way of capturing your heart!

This quilt shown below is one that I quilted for one of my local quilt shops just yesterday. The fabric line was designed by Jennifer Chiaverini. The line is called Caroline's Collection by Red Rooster fabrics.

I enjoyed The Quilter's Apprentice. Jennifer's books are nice easy reads that just sort of sweep you in. The quilt sampler is on my to do list... someday!
my favorite book is The Runaway Quilt. Jennifer sent me an Elm Creek Quilts pin to thank me for making a block for her Log Cabin Quilt - she's a nice gal!

I am also a big fan of The Elm Creek Quilters. It's hard to pick a favorite, but The Sugar Camp Quilt is among the favorite ones. And I look forward to read this new one. Thank you for hosting a lovely giveaway!

I bawled like a baby at the end of The Lost Quilter because of the intolerable cruelty and the glimpse of what it might have been like to be a slave. We take so much for granted and I often reflect on that story when I need perspective about my many blessings. It is hard to choose a favorite, but that may be mine.
